Back to School Night
Come out, grab some food, and learn about all the resources our school has to offer!

First Day of School
Welcome to our new and returning Mount Washington Tigers!
First Day Entry Procedures:
Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students:
Only students in kindergarten and 1st grade will report to the Lower Building on the first day of school. Students (and any accompanying parent/guardian) will be directed to their classrooms upon building entry. All parent(s)/guardian(s) are kindly requested to say goodbye to their children at or before 9:00a.m., to accommodate and ease the entry process for students in grades 2 and 3.
2nd – 8th grade students
Students (and any accompanying parent/guardian) will meet at the Outdoor Classroom, across the street from the Lower Building at 1801 Sulgrave. The teachers will be organized by grade level to ensure students are able to find their homeroom and class. At 9:00a.m., students in grades 2 & 3 will walk with their teachers to the Lower Building; students in grades 4 through 8 will enter the Upper Building with their teachers. We ask that parents say goodbye to their children at the Outdoor Classroom. As a reminder, the building will be open for parents and community at the Sneak-a-Peek and Back to School Night events.
Sneak a Peek at Your Seat
Grades Pre-K - 5 Location: Upper Building (1801 Sulgrave Ave)
Grades 6-8 Location: Middle School Building (1800 Sulgrave Ave)
Sneak a Peek at Your Seat is an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with their classrooms before the official start of the school year. This event allows them to get comfortable in their new environment and meet their teachers. You are welcome to bring your child’s school supplies to drop off in the classroom during this event.
Orientation for New Families and Students (Elem - 12p, MS - 4p)
Orientation for Students and New Families
Location: Upper Building Gym (1801 Sulgrave Ave)
New Elementary Students: 12 - 1pm
Rising 6th Graders and New Middle School Students: 4 - 5pm
This in-person orientation is specifically designed for new families and rising 6th grade students along with their parent(s)/guardian(s). It will provide valuable information and insights into our school's culture, policies, and expectations.
