The Mount Washington School is Baltimore City School #221 and our mascot is the Tiger.
Tigers represent intelligence, loyalty, and courage. They are adventurous leaders and quick learners.
GREEN SCHOOL
The Green Committee works with staff, students, and their families to support and encourage the incorporation of environmental sustainability in the school’s policies and practices to actively reduce our carbon footprint. Our work includes composting, recycling initiatives, and the continued growth and maintenance of the gardens within our school grounds.
Our goal is to foster active learners and critical thinkers who understand and appreciate the natural world around them. We hope to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and lifelong environmental stewardship.
