• Bus transportation will be provided. Be certain that students are at their stop by 7:30am. Drivers may be new and routes may be different from last year, so be prepared to wait for the bus.
• If you bring your child to school by car, please know that parking is limited. You may need to park a distance from the school and walk.
• Breakfast is served at 8:05am on the first day of school and each day after. Menus may be found on the City Schools website, www.baltimorecityschools.org
• Students should arrive at the Outdoor Classroom by 8:15am.
• Teachers and other staff members will escort students to their homeroom.
• In the event that it is raining, students in Pre-K, K, 1st and 2nd grade, and self-contained special education class should report to the cafeteria to be escorted to classrooms.
• In the event that it is raining, students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade should enter the gym to be escorted to their classrooms.
• Lunch will be served on the first day of school and each day after. Menus may be found on the City Schools website, www.baltimorecityschools.org
• Your child’s daily schedule will be sent home the first week of school. The schedule will include lunch time and days and times for resource classes.
• Dismissal is at 2:55pm. Students taking carpool home will be escorted to the cafeteria for dismissal. Cars are to wait in a line on Lochlea on the left curbside. Students will be called to the cars. Students riding buses will be escorted by school staff to their assigned bus. Walkers will be escorted to the door on the corner of Sulgrave Road.

Class assignments, by grade, will be posted on the front doors of the school at 9:00am on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Class assignments are made based on a variety of factors so that classes are the most conducive to learning for each student. Requests for changes in class assignments will not be considered until October 1, 2010. Thank you in advance for understanding our school procedures on this.
